2025 Program

Roots

3rd edition Reconciliation festival

The theme for 2025 is Roots. The artists invite you on a journey through time, culture, and personal stories. We are thrilled to bring together guests from Norway, Europe, and Africa to collaborate and share their diverse experiences here in Norway. This edition is also the perfect opportunity to tell you about the Songs of Travel project and how each us can relate positively to the current challenges of society today.

On the science side, Reconciliation will pay a tribute to the French-Polish scientist Maria Skłodowska-Curie. She was the first woman to receive 2 Nobel Prizes in Physics and Chemistry. Her remarkable life journey reminds us of the continued importance of promoting education, culture, and gender equality.

Free scientific and artistic workshops for children are scheduled at Sølvberget library, ahead of the festival, on Saturday 16th August between 12.00 and 15.00. All details on Friskus – Reconciliation festival: gratis musikk og vitenskap workshops – Arrangement
