Reconciliation Festival 2025
Art & Science for a beautiful world
20 – 24 August 2025
3rd edition
Roots
The chamber musical festival which invites artists and scientists to demonstrate how art and science together can contribute to build a beautiful world, and invites you to share the artistic experience as a reconciliation force with nature and in society and a step towards sustainability.
The theme for 2025 is Roots. The artists invite you on a journey through time, culture, and personal stories. We are thrilled to bring together guests from Norway, Europe, and Africa to collaborate and share their diverse stories here in Norway. The festival will also pay tribute to the French-Polish scientist Maria Skłodowska-Curie. She was the first woman to receive 2 Nobel Prizes in Physics and Chemistry. Her remarkable life journey reminds us of the continued importance of promoting education, culture, and gender equality.
