Sound is important; it affects all ages and permeates economic, environmental, societal, medical, industrial, and cultural dimensions. It contributes to our individual and collective behavior, helping shape the relationships we form with others.
UNESCO’s Sound Week is organized every January. The event is being organized for the first time in Norway and in Stavanger by the volunteers of the Den gjenfundne tid association.
The event has been organized globally since 2004 by the French association “La semaine du son.”
